Worship Beliefs
We believe that our times of corporate worship are God’s gifts to us. Unable to reach up to God on our own power, wisdom, or righteousness, God descends to us. Through Christ, we are united with God and through weekly worship, we are invited to receive God’s good gifts of Himself. As God’s gathered guests in worship, we are able to participate in the life of God by hearing His
Word, receiving His forgiveness of our sins, and sharing in the Holy Meal of Communion, in which He offers His body and blood to strengthen and sustain us. As we receive these gifts and are refreshed and renewed by them, we become free to offer our prayers, petitions, and praise back to Him. Through Christ, our relationship with God has been repaired and restored. In worship, we celebrate this fact with joy and thanksgiving. We invite you to come and share these gifts of God with us. Guests and visitors are always welcome.
