Community Service
Our congregation works hard to be fully engaged with our community. Each year we choose several outreach events that allow us to mingle with the larger community and raise funds for great causes. In our yellow Good Shepherd T-shirts, we hard to miss!
Day of Caring
Every year, several dozen volunteers participate in the United Way’s Annual Day of Caring. We clean homes and make repairs for area residents that aren’t able to do this for themselves. We also offer them warm smiles, fellowship, and the love of Jesus.
Community Garden
Behind our church is a community garden that provides fresh food to several area food pantries. We also collect non-perishable food items to support the pantries nearby.
Local Presence
Our volunteers at Water Fest serve up food and drinks to concertgoers, opening up many opportunities to share the love of Christ with them. We also serve meals at the Pizza Ranch and run the Brat Barn at the Festival once a year.
